Lunch at our vineyard is a relaxed and social experience. Enjoy share plates featuring the season’s freshest local produce, matched with a selection of Moy Hall wines.

A taste of our menu is shown below, which changes weekly depending on the availability of seasonal produce and the creative whim of our chefs! We can cater for most dietary requirements upon request.

Lunch bookings

We would love to host you for lunch at Moy Hall vineyard, so please go ahead and book via the form below. Online bookings are generally allocated to our indoor/under cover tables only, so if your preferred time is unavailable please email us at bookings@moyhall.nz to see if we have an outside table available (weather dependent). For same day bookings please phone the restaurant on 06-929-7305. Under the Red Traffic Light we ask that you please take note of your seating time to help us stay under our 100 person capacity during the day.

Making your experience fun

If there’s anything we can do to make your visit more relaxed, fun, inclusive or romantic please let us know when you book. Here are some suggestions for you to consider!

Moy Hall is a mix of indoor and alfresco dining during the warmer months. Most of our indoor tables are under a large marquee on the deck overlooking the vines, which has clear walls and is fairly warm with the heaters going. We have a few tables available inside the cellar door.

Each reservation is allocated two hours, so if you need longer just let us know at the time of booking.

Our menu caters for dietary requirements such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan, and our chefs can modify other plates upon request. If any guests have allergies or coeliac disease please let us know at the time of booking so that we can plan ahead.

Do any of your guests require complete shade, warmth, indoor dining, a highchair, space for a pram or extra-supportive seating?

Moy Hall has easy wheelchair access with flat entrance to the cellar door and dining on the deck, so please let us know and we will reserve you the best table.

Our vineyard is dog-friendly, provided your fur baby is well socialised with people and other dogs! Just let us know when you book so that we can reserve you an outside table to meet our food safety requirements.

You are welcome to enjoy a wine tasting at the counter before lunch. If its not too busy one of our team may be able to offer you a wine tasting at your table upon request, except Saturdays. Please note there is a tasting fee of $10 per person.

Group shared lunch

For groups of 12+ we offer a fixed price Chef’s Selection lunch, which is a fun and relaxed way to dine. Our two-course shared lunch is $50 per person, which includes shared starters and lunch plates. The three-course shared lunch is $60 per person, which includes shared desserts. Dietary requirements can be catered for within this format.

If your celebration requires a cake, we can arrange this through the local Buttercream Workshop with at least a week’s notice.

Events

We would be delighted to discuss your ideas for a private function. For events outside our usual open hours please email events@moyhall.nz to get the conversation started. Weddings, Christmas parties, corporate events and birthday celebration enquiries are welcome.
