Lunch bookings

We would love to host you for lunch at Moy Hall vineyard, so please go ahead and book via the form below. Online bookings are allocated to tables on the deck under the louvre ceiling. On sunny days we may be able to move you to a table in the courtyard with an umbrella. For groups of 12 or more please email us at bookings@moyhall.nz. Lunch

Lunch at our vineyard is a relaxed and social experience. Enjoy share plates featuring the season’s freshest local produce, matched with a selection of Moy Hall wines.

A taste of our menu is shown below, which changes with the availability of seasonal produce and the creative whim of our chefs! We can cater for most dietary requirements upon request.

Beetroot gratin

You are welcome to enjoy a wine flight at your table which includes a selection of four wines.

Making your experience fun

If there’s anything we can do to make your visit more relaxed, fun and inclusive please let us know when you book. Here are some suggestions for you to consider!

Moy Hall is a mix of under cover and alfresco dining during the warmer months. Online bookings are for tables under a louvre ceiling on the deck overlooking the vines, which has sides and is fairly warm with the heaters going – please bring a warm layer just in case. We have a few tables available inside the cellar door.

Each reservation is allocated two hours, so if you need longer just let us know at the time of booking.

Our menu caters for dietary requirements such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan, and our chefs can modify other plates upon request. If any guests have allergies or coeliac disease please let us know at the time of booking so that we can plan ahead.

Do any of your guests require complete shade, warmth, indoor dining, a highchair, space for a pram or extra-supportive seating?

Moy Hall has easy wheelchair access with flat entrance to the cellar door and dining on the deck, so please let us know and we will reserve you the best table.

Our vineyard is dog-friendly if you are happy to dine outside. Just add a note when you book online so that we can reserve you an outside table. If the weather is wet or cold we can seat you under cover but your dog won’t be able to join you in this area sorry, due to food safety and potential allergies.

Group shared lunch

For groups of 12+ we offer a fixed price Chef’s Selection lunch, which is a fun and relaxed way to dine. Our shared lunch is $65 per person, which includes local bakery bread and shared lunch plates. Dietary requirements can be catered for within this format.

Dessert can be included for $10 per person, which is served individually, and/or a shared cheese course for $10 per person.

If your celebration requires a cake, we can arrange this for you through the local Buttercream Workshop with at least a week’s notice.

Events

We would be delighted to discuss your ideas for a private function, which can be hosted outside our usual open hours. Our venue is generally available for private lunch events on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and every evening of the week except Saturdays and public holidays. Otherwise we may be able to host your group while we are open to the public, depending on numbers.

Christmas parties, corporate events and birthday celebration enquiries are welcome. We have hosted a few lovely weddings, but sadly we won’t be taking any further bookings at this stage.
